Let's get down to the nitty-gritty - what's on the platters?
All our platters are bespoke and made with your food requests and the seasons in mind. They can be vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan or incorporate other dietary requirements so items below can be substituted with suitable alternatives.
Our platters will usually contain:
- 2-3 homemade savoury items (such as quail's scotch eggs, mini quiches, cheese straws, bruscetta etc...)
- 2 seasonal, homemade dips with dippy accompaniments
- freshly prepared crudités and fruit
- a selection of British cheeses and homemade accompaniments
- small producer charcuterie
- homemade snacks, such as flavoured, roasted nuts or coated popcorn
- handcrafted sweet-bakes (always including some homemade chocolate goodies)
- Gorgeous edible florals and herbs to decorate
can the platters be themed?
Yes. Any theme can be applied to suit your occasion and 'feel' of the décor.
will Mother nature deliver the platters?
Yes within the M25 and Surrey for a small delivery charge. It's entirely possible to deliver further afield, please get in touch!
Will I need plates, cutlery and napkins to go with the platters?
Everything on the platters is finger food and easy to pop into your mouth. We provide high quality disposable tableware if you feel like it it would be necessary, for example, if the platter is for children.
What is the food served on?
The platters are delivered on beautiful bamboo boards and accompanied with minimal serve-ware. We will arrange a convenient time to collect afterwards - no need to wash them. If you would prefer to have a portable, recyclable platter this can be arranged for a small charge.
How long can i keep the food for?
The food will be delivered to you at its correct temperature and can be left out for a maximum of four hours according to the Food Safety Act 1990. However, in the spirit of zero waste, refrigerate any leftovers to nibble on the next day! Food should be displayed out of direct sunlight and in a cool place.
